The website www.homeview.be/en/ is published by HOME VIEW SRL. The person responsible for publication is David Beghin, as manager.

HOME VIEW SRL carries on the activity of estate agent and is registered with the Institut Professionnel des Agents Immobiliers (IPI) under number 508 296. In accordance with the Belgian law of 11 February 2013 governing the profession, the agency holds professional civil liability insurance, a financial guarantee covering client funds and a crime insurance policy. Certificates are available on request at info@homeview.be.

2. Consumer mediation

In the event of a dispute with a consumer, Home View undertakes to seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the consumer may refer the matter free of charge to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service, Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8, box 1, 1000 Brussels — mediationconsommateur.be. The European online dispute resolution platform is also available at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

3. Hosting

The site is hosted by OVHcloud SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France, on servers located in the European Union.

4. Intellectual property and liability

All content on this site (texts, photographs, logo, design, code) is protected by copyright and remains the exclusive property of HOME VIEW SRL or its rights holders. Any reproduction, in whole or in part, without prior written authorisation is prohibited.

Information published on this site — services, areas covered, timeframes, price ranges — is indicative and does not constitute an offer, a contractual commitment or a legally binding valuation. Only a valuation carried out after a visit and the signature of a mandate binds the agency.

5. Personal data (GDPR)

Data collected: through the contact form, only what you enter yourself — name, phone number, e-mail address, municipality and type of property, nature of your project and your message. The web server also keeps minimal technical logs for security purposes.

Purposes and legal bases: answering your request and preparing a valuation or a mandate (pre-contractual measures, art. 6.1.b GDPR); following up your project during our exchanges (legitimate interest, art. 6.1.f); measuring audience and campaign performance, only with your consent (art. 6.1.a); complying with legal obligations such as accounting (art. 6.1.c).

Recipients: Home View staff concerned by your request and our host OVHcloud (EU). Your data is never sold, rented or passed on for advertising purposes, and no transfer outside the European Union is made for the operation of this site.

Retention: contact requests without follow-up 3 years from the last exchange; client files for the duration of the relationship then 10 years; accounting documents 7 years; audience measurement data 14 months at most; server logs 12 months at most.

Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent. Write to info@homeview.be; we reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels — autoriteprotectiondonnees.be.

6. Cookies

No advertising or audience-measurement cookie is set before you agree. Only one strictly necessary item is stored locally in your browser (hv_consent_v1, 6 months) to remember your choice.

If you accept, Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*, 13 months, Google Ireland Ltd) and possibly a Meta pixel (_fbp, 90 days, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd) may be activated. Refusing has no consequence on your access to the site or on the handling of your request. You can change your mind at any time via “Manage cookies” at the bottom of every page.

7. Applicable law

This site is governed by Belgian law. Any dispute relating to its use falls within the jurisdiction of the courts of the district of the registered office of HOME VIEW SRL, without prejudice to the protective rules applicable to consumers.
